Early Multidrug Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (COVID-19) and Reduced Mortality Among Nursing Home Residents

5th June 2021

Data from nine studies found hydroxychloroquine-based multidrug regimens were associated with a statistically significant >60% reduction in mortality. Going forward, we conclude that early empiric treatment for the elderly with COVID-19 in the nursing home setting (or similar congregated settings with elderly residents/patients) has a reasonable probability of success and acceptable safety....

Covid Medical Network - Clinical Evidence Task Force Recommendations on HCQ is ignoring the vast body of evidence on HCQ and is citing the irrelevant evidence for early treatments

An essential updated review of COVID-19 early-treatment best practices was published in the US this morning

30th December 2020

This international collaboration outlines the urgency of, "prompt early initiation of sequenced multidrug therapy (SMDT) … to stem the tide of hospitalizations and death." This international collaboration comprised of physicians, like lead author Peter McCullough, MD, courageously treating patients despite the prevalence of "therapeutic nihilism" among government agencies like the NIH and FDA (and our own TGA).

The early stage of viral replication provides a therapeutic window of tremendous opportunity to potentially reduce the risk of more severe sequelae in high risk patients. Precious time is squandered with a 'wait and see' approach … resulting in unnecessary hospitalization, morbidity, and death. … In newly diagnosed, high-risk, symptomatic patients with COVID-19, SMDT has a reasonable chance of therapeutic gain with an acceptable benefit-to-risk profile.

Included in the paper is a "sequential multidrug treatment algorithm" and summaries of the rationale and evidence for each component.

ABOUT COVID-19 MEDICAL NETWORK LTD

We are a group of senior medical doctors and health professionals who are concerned about the health impacts of the lockdowns used in response to the SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks in Victoria and across Australia.

We are also concerned about the lack of good information available to the general public and the misleading use of data. These factors have created an unwarranted state of fear in our community.

We aim to detail the harms of the lockdowns, describe clearly the virulence and risks of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, critique aspects of the management policies and make this information readily available to the general public.
